Exhibition Editor - thumb and mcrothumbdirectory

Am I supposed to see the thumbs and mcrothubs in the exhibition editor? I don't see any and there is a message like
../images/thumb/

SHOW THUMBNAILS

--- NO DIRECTORY OR IT IS EMPTY ---
If there is no directory yet, EE will create
it at first upload to this exhibition.

but the thumbs and microthumbs are on the server and in the frontend everything seems fine.... is there anything wrong now or not?

Relative path in path setup is not correct.

if the full URL to the directory is http://www.mywebsite.com/images/thumb than the relative path should be ../images/thumb/ shouldn't it? What am I doing wrong?

PM me you editor/ftp info and I'll have a look. It may be that your ftp server's default folder permission setting does not allow PHP to read folders.
