Found this (http://money.cnn.com/magazines/business2/business2_archive/2007/04/01/8403372/index.htm?postversion=2007040409) on CNN Money. Not sure if it was already poste.
I thought it was good reading.

Interesting.
I keep wondering why a guild isn't formed so that photographers can keep the profits themselves.
Weak trade association?

Never used them, but there does seem to be a photographer focused site for selling 'stock-like' photos: http://www.photographersdirect.com/

Intresting, I never knew Corbis had a shakie history.
What some photographers simply do not understand is Microstock is bad.
Why shoot yourself in the foot? "Well, the images I have on microstock were just taking up space on my hard drive, why not make $50 a month off them?" Because if you sold 1 of those images on a regular stock site you would make just as much money, and you wouldn't be starving out the photographer who does this for a living.
I just get soo frustrated, cause this problem can be completely fixed by photographers...I gotta calm down, much more and I'll start a flame war so I'll just end it here.
