How do you guys go about making them? Do you just apply it as a layer from Photoshp? Is there places you can get really nice script fonts to make it actually LOOK like a signature?

Just an inquiring mind, off to find out a few tips-n-tricks from the sea of great photographers on this forum. Thanks!! 8)

One of the members (Oviv) here wrote a program. Read about it here: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28678&highlight=

Ok, this might be the hard way to do your signiture, but here is how i did it.

Setup the camera in the bathroom facing a large clean mirror. Picked up a red laser pointer from best buy for 5 bucks, set the camera too about a 15 sec exp. time. Turned the lights off and just air signed my name into the mirror.

Took about 10 times to get the one i wanted, but came out looking really cool after a little photoshop help.

sorry that i dont have any examples online.

good luck

How to "watermark" your images in PS CS/7

The easiest way to do this is to do the following:

1. open your photo.
2. click on the text tool.
3. Type your text.
4. In the layers pallette set fill to 0%
5. go to Layer/layer style/bevel and emboss...
6. Set bevel how you want it.

done.

You can also add gradients, shadows, stroke and add patterns to your text

New blank canavas in PS. Type in your text with fonts and effects. Save as a new brush. Any time you want to add the text, just pick the brush.

I used the same process as KennyG except I took my original signature on a blank sheet of paper, scanned it into a jpeg then did what KennyG said except I turned my signature jpeg into a new brush and saved it. Looks coooool :D

I'm lazy, I have a shed load of handwriting fonts.

I also don't want to give anyone my signature in case my cards ever get stolen  :P
