uploading files...slow to stop

hi when i upload files any files of over 1mb dont manage to get to the upload folder also cuts out at around 2 minutes.
i can put them in the upload folder manually via ftp maybe this is how im going to have to do it?
also on the resizing the large size it stops and no pics show just get the message window and working on the photo no file uploaded succesfully?

do i need to decrease the compression in resize menu?

You shouldn't need to. You should be able to upload files of up to 2mb or so.

Have you got your ftp servers set up for passive mode?

managed a workround.lol
upload directly to upload folder via ftp
now that ive got imagemagic working it seems to resize them ok well worked on a 2MB file
