Hi all, I’m new to this forum and to start it off I have a question. I have owned my 10d for about a year, so I comfortable with most of the functionality. I do mostly action photography, motor sports etc. Sometime at the track I like to take photos with allot of up-close motion and for some shots I like a more frozen depth of field look. Since I don’t have much time to change in-between settings, I was wondering if there was a way for me to set up my variables (shutter speed, white balance etc.) save it, then change them and save the second set of variables, so I can toggle in between saved modes, so to speak? I have looked threw the book, but haven’t seen it in there. Is this possible?

Thanks, Drew

Alas,. there is not.

There is something like this in the 1D,. (and I assume 1Ds) and if I understand correctly,. these user defined memory settings will be even more flexible in the MkII...

But the 10D .. nope :(

I REALLY wish it did.

Even cameras like the Powershot G3 have two programmable custom settings modes. Why did Canon forget this on the 10D.....?
