Mungo Lady

Just left camping Mungo National Park outback NSW Australia. World Heritage area . Site of the Mungo Lady, the world’s first recorded cremation. Aboriginal (Inc Mungo lady) occupation of Lake Mungo occurred between 45,000 and 42,000 years ago, a time when the lake was a lavish water and food supply for humans, animals and plants. Very diferent now. This pic taken at sunset with a polarizing filter with my new 12-24mm Sigma ex dg.

and another pic of the Sand/Soil formations in Lake Mungo.this pic is one of the is the rear formations of the first pic . Tried to get the sunset highlighting the different color levels in the formation.
