Big Groom

I am shooting a wedding at the end of the month where the groom is 6' 8" tall and about 300 lbs. The bride is about 5' 6" tall and normal weight. Other than have the bride stand one or two steps up for formals, any suggestions for candids and other shots?? Even if I do 3/4 and head & shoulder shots, she is still going to only come to his shoulder in un-posed shots where I can't get her up off the ground.

Sound like fun. Make sure you get a good swooning shot - aka 'the dip.' It helps them look closer to the same size, since height isnt what draws you into that image. Then stuff of him picking her up would be sweet. We had a 6 ft groom and a 5'1" bride. Her heels made them close to the same size. We used steps - had her up 2 and it put them nose to nose. He also picked her up and carried her out. That 'pose' makes for a nice shot too.
