menus not showing

hi when i change global settings to white in styles all the page backgrounds show in white, good so far but the menus at the top dont show? (ie the index,comment,feeds,etc) the bar is still black and the index etc still work (although cannot be seen) how can i change the bacground on the title bar to white? what template is it in??

thanks for any help

also the edit in the styles settings does'nt work just goes to page not found???

in the root directory off EE there is an header.php and/or in the language direcory's they can appear.
Try to edit those and it should work :)

-note-
The header.php works for ALL languages if there is no header.php in the language dir.
And the header.php in the language dir overrides the header.php in the root.
