I live in Portland, Oregon, and we have myportlandwedding.com. I have a free listing on there, which is basically nothing. I wouldn't pay to be on there because, at least on our site, there are hundreds of photogs on there and it is very difficult to stand out on something like that. However, if you pay for an ad at the very top w/a large picture, or just below it, it may work better. I've never tried it, though, partly because the larger ads you pay for, to me, look like the typical ads on every site, that nobody clicks on because they know they're just stupid ads. Hope that makes sense!
