Nice shots, all. But I am really starting to like the "little brown jobs", The Sparrows, more and more. Matter of fact, I just framed an 8x10 of a "common" Song Sparrow.

Very nice detail. Well done.

Hi, Your Mallard looks like a hybrid American Black Duck x Mallard. They don't usually show as much "Mallard" but it seems to be one anyway.

Was gonna ask if it was a hybrid as the body color is different than male mallards. Great detaile shots of a variety of birds Wayne, well done.

Thanx for all the kind words everyone , and as for the Mallard X Black duck hybrid , I was pretty sure it was a hybrid what with the darker colors and the missing white neck ring but really didn't think to bother mentioning it ,,, I see so many of these hybrids especially this winter and spring

Good job on the sparrows Wayne, and the Songster is looking rather plump! I really like the Junco, a personnal favorite species of mine from the sparrow family...
