Are you on skis/ a board while taking these? or did you take your bag up and walk down to a good spot? I'm wondering, because I love to board, and living in Colorado, get to a lot. However, I'm not quite sure if i feel comfortable taking 2k+ worth of gear up there, and have one accident...

What about bags? do you use a dakine bag? (i forgot what it was called, but they have what looks like a nice backback for boarding with photo gear)

Snow boarding. I used a 30D with grip and 24-105. I strap a Lowepro Toploader 65 AW acrost my chest running the waist and chest straps from my back pack through it. Very heavy but very easy to pull out and snap pictures.

Very nice. When will Mammoth close? I haven't been up to Tahoe at all this year. What a bad year we had! :(

I think Eagle And Canyon will close in a few weeks. The Main Lodge will probably only make it till mid May. Mammoth made it till July 4th the last couple of years. I went to Tahoe about a month ago.

Great pics! i worked the 2001/02 season there and miss that kind of snow alot! unfortunatly we dont get much snow like that in Oz. Very jealous!
