As you can see from the photo I need to clean the sensors of my camera (350D) but I'm not sure how to. I know that the camera has a sensor cleaning option but what tools do I need to use? Can I damage the sensors? Anything else I need to know about cleaning?
Many thanks in advance

Michael

I know it can sound rather scary but it is really quite easy to do. I've cleaned the sensors on my bodies many many times without any troubles at all. The first thing that I would suggest is to use a rocket blower to try and dislodge the specs. Failing that I always used PecPad supplies. While not cheap you only do this every so often and it is a necessary evil in the days of digital photography.

You should note that you are not actually cleaning the sensor itself but a thin glass filter that lays atop the sensor.

I would suggest that you read the Copperhill site (http://www.pbase.com/copperhill/ccd_cleaning). They have some good explanations on there and also sell supplies that are less expensive than some of the name brands.
