Just curious if anyone has any experience with any of these online photo processing sites that will take your photos and make a photo album in a nicely bound book. I have a friend that has used viovio a couple times but the photos come back looking a bit overexposed and grainy. I am just wondering how much they compress the image file and how much image quality I am losing by using online sites. Any input would be great thanks.

I have used www.blurb.com once and found it acceptable. There is some good information in this link: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/search.php?searchid=2376831

Good luck, Dennis

Hi Ben
I've used shutterfly for a book (got it free w/ an amazon purchase) they were fast and pretty easy to use but quality was just okay. I've also used Apple (as I have a mac w/ iphoto) and they were slow but excellent quality.

It's a nice way to save/present snaps but it's hard to judge end quality ahead of time.

Never tried the other two services. Good luck with it!
