hiya...........ive been using a G2 for six months and am really impressed at the image quality, especially compared to professional digital camera backs(phase one - 6 to 16 mpxs)....

however i am now fed up with using what is really a compact camera and need a digital SLR with 6mpxs.........i have a d50 35mm camera so the obvious choice is the d60........but how good is it? is it worth considering the 1d despite the massive price difference?

ihear the d60 struggles with apertures below f11.....is this true? what problems does it present in laymans terms?

and is it worth considering the nikon options? d100 or d1x.......?

can anybody comment on all this........? and let me know the pros and especially the cons with regard to d60??? will i struggle downloading and processing raw files to an ibook2?

please give me guidence!!!!!!cheers...........ian

Go take a look on dpreview.com, they just posted some D100 images and there is lots of talk circulating about D60vsD100. Although, it appears that it will just come down to opinion and personal preference.

Hope this helps you out.
