I have had a canon 20d for about 18months and the wife just got a 30d. I am really keen on trying new things and getting out into the world and shooting.

Welcome !... I like your sunrise photos, you got me thinking about whether I like the trees there in the middle, or if I would have moved them to the side (perhaps not physically possible due to water hazards). But I definitely liked them.

This forum is a lot of fun, but the amounts of wisdom you can absorbe will far superseed anyone's ability to learn. I have been hanging out here for just about a year, and I am barely truly learning.

Looking forward to your upcoming posts. And get the wife to let you borrow the 30D !! :)

I'm trying to teach her how to use it at the moment. It is really good that the 20D and 30D are soo similar. makes my job a whole lot easier
