i was a little disappointed with alot of these, they were either soft or just oof. but these are some of the better ones. i sold my 5D a few weeks ago, shot this with the 30D, and have since gotten another 5D.

i like the colour editing sytle in these pics :DLove the guest book, too! That's not a shot I see very often, but just the thing I would want in my album. :)

My only gripe is that the white balance is off on these, giving everything a very orange look.

yes, everything is quite orange and I'm not sure I'd want a photo of someone's half-eaten cake in my wedding album. With some post processing, #1 could really be nice.

OK .. my honest reaction:
#1 .. nice idea but poorly focused.
#2 .. who wants to see a half eaten slice of cake?
#3 .. surely there were more appealing compositions of the cake.
#4 .. best of the lot, and I still can't find anything positive to say about it.
The above is given in the spirt of honest critique, which is the only way any of us will ever improve.
Good luck and post again,
Mike

why did u sell the 5d
i thought i wouldn't miss it, and i could get a 30D/ new lens for the price of the 5D body

i appreciate your honesty, and yes, i have several "traditional" shots of the cake, but i think these are just a little different.
thanks everyone for the comments/critiques.
