Hopefully there's a few online that can take a quick look at these and judge the WB, saturation, color. Getting ready to send pics to the editor and want to make sure these look alright, still not trusting this monitor. They look fine right now on here, but not sure if they will on the next comp as well.

Thanks Gavin, I used costom WB for shooting, but just went into PS and hit the ice with the WB and upped the saturation +30, which I've never used that much so a little weary. I've been trusting this monitor until tonight (when a lot more work might be on the line, ha).
Thanks again!

No problem Mike. The ice looks pretty good, skin tones are OK and there is detail in the shadow areas as well. Saturation is always a matter of taste I guess.. but these look good to my eyes. Good luck with the submissions.

Thanks again Gavin, this was my first hockey game in probably 6 years while I had the IIn on loan from Canon to give it a test run. Here's a couple more, luckily these will be used - the future work though is still up in the air but looking good. :)
Saved these at 5 so they would attach, hopefully they still look ok.

Thanks! Sent them out last night (well technically this morn) and the photo editor told me today they work perfectly and is trying to set up another game to shoot for the playoffs. Hopefully get to :)

The saturation looks a little too much to me. It is a matter of tast, but I think it washes out some of the detail. Nice work on the images though. You came up with much better results than I with hocke pics.

Yea, I like a bit more saturation for some reason - though the printer for the magazine requested I send all originals so they could do the editing to there specs - so editing these were pretty much a waste of my time :) Least now I know what they like, some places I work for just don't want to do the extra work and want me to edit, others dont. Now only if I can shoot the game on Saturday to watch the Sabres take game two as well ;)
