I often find that with my Ixus 400 I struggle to take a picture with a person in the foreground and a sight - eg. a bridge, a building, in the background when its dark.
Normally I can get the person in focus but the background item is quite blurry. This is when using a manual setting with the flash set to auto.
Apologies for such a general question, but I need advice :D
