The guy on the far left dropped his pocket ;) Nice pana shot. did you stitch, or just pull back a lot?

I agree with Geo. it looks like it was zoomed in a lot in edit. not a big enough telephoto lens. speaking from someone who has been to several USMC graduations. you are always far away from the ceremony. you will always need a telephoto or be really close with a wide angle due to the fact that there are usually anywhere (depending on where you graduate from.) there are 60-80 guys in one platoon. But this pic looks like it was taken on MCRD Parris Island. and the parade deck is pretty far away from the bleachers where the guests are seated. so it would have been an awesome picture if there was a telephoto lens involved.

Oh...the wonderful memories of Paradise Island :p I graduated with Echo Company when I was there back in 1984. It was so hot and humid, and full of sand fleas. I remember that it was so bad during the ceremony, the Commander gave an order to the Senior Drill Instructor to allow us to "scratch". He turned around and said "Ah Ten...hut!"..."Scratch!" I wish I can see some pictures of that moment :p

I am not sure what one poster mean that the guy on the far left dropped his pocket? The picture is a little tilted though.
