Have we heard what the price is going to be on that yet?

Yeah, anywhere from $2200 to $2500 street price. Only problem is: NO ONE HAS THE DARN THING. I have the money in hand and can't find anyone with the lens. Calling Canon didn't help, the dealers don't know. I wanted to take this lens to Europe and I CAN'T. It's making me nuts!

Check out my other thread. Chuck Westfall confirms that both this and the 70-300 DO will be delayed until atleast June.

Yeah, I stumbled upon it after posting. Thanks for the heads up. Let's hope they get whatever issues there are resolved quickly.
