Yikes, have you looked into ways to fix that? I'd think a little landscaping should alleviate most of that.
The OP's image reminds me of a website many years back that told a story of a guy's 'Redneck Neighbor' which included some hilarious antics and photos!
Edit: Found the page, this is CERTAINLY worth a read and a very powerful tool to read when you have the urge to want to kill your own neighbors!

I remember that!! I can't believe you were able to find it and even more, that the site was still active. That sure was a great read.

I'm glad you guys liked it. As Chris said, its OLD so the fact that its around (and with working photos too!) is amazing. It just wouldn't be as good a story without photo documentation.
If I remember correctly this was about the time I was forced to live in an apartment (never again!) for a few years. It was an apartment community in a college town. Underneath us were two girls that weren't the smartest. On several complaints about the noise I received a call from the responding police officer laughing and told me they actually said 'This is our music, what is he doing listening to it? He doesn't have our permission!'. The officer set them straight.
One night they tried making microwave popcorn in the oven, smoke, fire alarms, unbelievable stink. Well Mom and Dad put them up in a hotel for the weekend while everyone else had to deal.. :)
I believe this article helped me remain calm and not flip out!

Yeah, we are going to put a trench in near the property line, probably a culvert, too, so the water that runs off that field will hopefully go towards the road, and into the trench!!!!

This thread brought back memories. A site I used to frequently frequent has a similar thread (http://www.tacticalgamer.com/sandbox/74031-oh-yeah-rant-i-wish-my-neighbors-would-hurry-up-die.html). The back-yard is just part of the story though.

I think I have somebody beat...
Here is my neighbor's yard, directly to my south. Their rule of thumb, when they are not having domestic disputes, is to deposit anything they are done with in the yard or the now overly full garage, complete with broken door. They own now two dogs, who leave their deposits in the backyard, creating a minefield, thus the reason for the non-cut grass. One step...BOOM! [yuk]
pic 1
Behold the garage!!! If you look in the foreground, you'll see the banister removed from the home about 10 years ago, now used to border the "eating and picnic" area, just downwind from the minefield. The minivan, a 1995, was abandoned in leu of a new Ford sedan, and now sits dying a slow death from the elements....

but I'm not done.... the bricks in the foreground have fallen off the house...here is a more direct view of the garage. they had a party 3 years ago, with banners and pennants up along the gutter of the garage....they have all been long blown up and into the gutters, clogging them.
pic 3
and finally the front of this charmer. Note the roof...ahem...repair... he did it himself, in a storm, 5 years ago...and was gonna call a pro when the snow melted...or perhaps the endcaps of the 100 year old siding falling off. Or the skim-coated crumbling stairs....but what the hey, they got satellite!
pic 4
so now, having posted this, it seems another call to the town is neccessary, to have them do a makeshift cleanup again, only to fall to disrepair again...

i don't have a photo because nothing on earth would have made me think "hey, i'll get a picture of this" when i saw it - but you know those buildings that are built right next to another one? so that the only view is some nasty stained spiderwebby brick and maybe a piece of mouldy downpipe?
yeah, that. now THAT'S a yukky backyard. can anyone top that? ;-)
