We are pleased to announce the release of YarcPlus V1.7 for Windows.
YarcPlus V1.7 offers full compatability with the Canon 1D and D60, as well as many other new enhancements.
Updated Release Notes for YarcPlus Version 1.7 are available at:

In addition to 1D conversion support, we have created some unique and exciting viewing modes that enhance the viewing of 1D RAW files. These 1D files only contain a 288x192 size thumbnails for viewing purposes (as opposed to the large embedded JPEGs of CRW files). In addition to viewing these small thumbnails or a full high quality conversion, YarcPlus also provides several additional viewing options. We hope that they are useful to you. Many of these viewing modes are also available for all Canon Camera files.

A most useful (and unique) feature of YarcPlus is the Append Settings to Filenames Option. Check out the details here...

A note about ARF and D60/1D files
=================================
Initial evaluation using ARF (the Artifact Reduction Filter within YarcPlus) on D60/1D files is extremely exciting. Because the D60/1D files are already very clean, ARF is able to be even more effective in cleansing the image than on D30 files. Also 1D high ISO files are not so swamped with Chroma noise and ARF is therefore able to reduce the overall 1D High ISO noise in a very effective manner with little or no loss of detail. ARF can also be used very effectively in combination with Noise Reduction software such as Fred Miranda's ISOR Actions. I encourage you to experiment with ARF on D60/1D files of all ISO values, both with Mode 1 and 2 settings.
Also watch for YarcPlus beta Version 1.8 within the next few days which will feature new Thumbnail views.
We hope that YarcPlus enhances your Canon RAW workflow.
All suggestions and questions are welcome at support@YarcPlus.com or on our message board.
Thanks from Bruce and myself...
