HELP WITH MACRO LENS!

Would someone be so kind as to tell me if this lens is a MACRO lens? I'm looking for a ''close-shot'' lens and the one I've found on E-bay is confusing me. There's too much talk of ''wide angle'' and less talk of macro. Please take a look and tell me if this is what I'm looking for and if it would actually work on my Canon S50.

It looks like a wide angle adapter (0.45X conversion) and close up lens combo, but it has no specifications for the 'macro' conversion rate.

I believe all it will allow you to do is to focus closer to the subject--the magnification factor is not stated.
