Daddy's pointing the camera again

I took two of my kids to a local park the other evening. Brought the camera and took a few snapshots and here's the results :)

Nice shots. Square up the second one so you crop them centrally into the picture maybe?

I like the composition on #2; don't crop it too much. First is OOF too much for my liking, but nice snap.

I like the second one, the focus seems to be on the fence on the first one - it could do with being closer imo.

Thanks for the comments. You could be right about the focus on the first one. I took a few that evening were the camera focused on everything but the subject :( Maybe have to go to good old manual focus :)

Just pick the AF point yourself...your manual will tell you how. Not sure what camera you have but most let you do that. Even some P&S cams.
