Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Coupé 1955, at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.
Only two of these exist, and they were regarded as the fastest cars of the 1950s. (quote from wikipedia)

Do you want one?

Image seems noisy to me, but loved the lighting.

Wonder how much that car is worth.

Yes, it's noisy below the headlights, I had to "recover" a few areas that were too dark, and it was shot at ISO 800. I'll try to see what I can do about it

And,..that car is priceless ;)

I'm thinking its the SL, not the SLR? I don't remember the "R" as having a top?
Still, it reminds me of Moss, Fangio, & the great team they fielded.

There's a great book from back then, called "The Racing Driver", where a journalist rode with those guys & described the experience.
Library of Congress Catalog # 59-3790

Nice shot, given the conditions you had to work with.

It is a "with top" SLR (only 2 were produced)
This particular car is called the Uhlenhaut Coupé (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lilcrazyfuzzy/457636862/)
