1 Exif Field Lost After LinearSharpen...

I have a linear tiff that was generated using breeze browser. Before I use LinearSharpen 342 the EXIF information contains (among other things) the type of lens that was used to take the picture. After running LinearSharpen 342 all the EXIF information is still there except the lens information.

What part of the action is causing this information to be lost and what can be done to change it?

I'm using PS7 on OS X.

Jeff,

I'm running PS7 under WinXP. My EXIF data shows focal length of the shot rather than of the lens, but it is not affected by LS342. So I would not think that is the culprit. I've checked a couple of dozen PSD files from a recent batch run. They all show the focal length OK.

Ok, not the actions fault. Photoshop is removing the image. I just opened an image and then did a levels adjustment. Then, did a save as and the lens information was gone.
