Big waves at the pier

A storm in the Southern Hemisphere and WNW groundswell combined to make some pretty big surf in Souther California this week. These were taken at Huntington Beach Pier. http://www.pbase.com/image/77078588/original.jpg

The second shot, the sun came out just before setting and made for some wonderful light.

The lighting on the second is great, especially on the spray under the pier. Not to sound picky but the image needs to be leveled. Those waves are huge.

I love the golden lighting on the second one. First image is also nice with the colours in the wave but i feel it is a little flat for my liking.
