My advice -- Don't bother trying the online or 800# phone option. Call all the local stores within a 50 mile radius of where you live. The smaller and podunk the town, the better chance they'll have one in stock. The 800# cannot properly pull up a store's inventory, so don't bother asking them to look, since they'll say they are all gone. Call each store and ask them. If they have it, ask to speak to the manager. Have him/her hold one for you. Use your credit card if necessary. Show up at the store and have the manager process your order. Show them the codes. Explain that this was an online deal for you, because you had tried to purchase a Nikon Coolpix camera and this was a "substitute" for that. Make sure to mention "substitute" -- that is key. Also don't mention that you read this on a board somewhere. Tell them that you got this information as a sustitute for the Coolpix. The manager can then enter the coupon codes. Both worked for me and I was able to get it for $189 total with tax. The second $20 code will not work the first time it is entered. It will display confirmation error message. Have the manager re-enter it and it will work fine. Just get off your butts and actually mozy down to a store instead of wasting your time trying to argue with a 800# CSR over backordering stuff. Even if they place your order, you'll still risk it being cancelled. Go to a store and physically lay your hands on one and get it. They are moving super fast! 8)
