Very nice. I'd be happy to have it. But since this is the critique corner, here's another way of looking at it.

My general preference when combining three images across, like you have here, is that either all three should be weighted equally, or that the center should dominate with the two side pieces as smaller accents. Looking at this particular combination, my preference would be to have the center shot larger, and/or the two side pieces smaller. For me, as cute as fingers and toes can be on a newborn, they shouldn't outweigh the full body shot you have in the center. In this combination, to me, they do.

I will try that and see if I like it better. I completely agree with you though, we will see what her momma like. Thanks a bunch.

Sarah, that is really very nice. If I were your client, I'd be happy.

Sarah, this is wonderful!
I can honestly say that I've never seen one like it. If I was the parent, I would love it (although I don't think my two teenagers would look even 1/2 as cute on there - way too much attitude!) I also think it is something that the recipients will treasure. Well done! (The two teens just wandered past - and both loved it as well. There may be hope yet)

I have to agree with this I'm afraid, but I do like your photos though. My only suggestion on these woul dbe to get in closer if you can.

It looks like it is meant to be a postcard? If so, I'd make the photographs much bigger (especially the centre one) and reduce the size of the writing below. The name (I know it's important - we spent two weeks coming up with one for our son!) dominates the whole arrangement IMO.

Keep going with it - it's a good concept and a great way of letting people know about a new baby (wish I'd thought of it).

Great design- agree with the choice of photo's - but if momma likes it-then your good to go.

What do you use to make templates?

well I made the side two smaller and so far I do like it better. I am going to try and make the text smaller and see if they like that better. Thanks a bunch

It's gorgeous, I bet it would nice in B&W, if anything on the 1st I would crop off a little more of the arm and concentrate on the little girls hand. But I'm just picky, what you have done is beautiful.
