In Finland a small amount of Mark II's arrived yesterday in shops and went straight out.

They said I'm not getting one from next shipment either (next week) but perhaps then (I reserved one 4th or Feb. )... oh well, I have to do some shootings with the old 10D and I was already mentally prepared to Mark II :)

Good news is that the retail price (tax included) has gone down to 4590€ from initial 5200€
I just hate waiting lists. What happened to good old bribe system? :)

If anyone knows a shop in Finland who has it NOW mail me.

1 EUR = 1.18885 USD
1 USD = 0.841148 EUR

4,590.00 EUR = 5,456.83 USD
5,200.00 EUR = 6,183.02 USD

Will there be any Mark II photo gallery in this site to show your photos taken?

Of course - but not before I get the camera :)

Mark II is also arrived to Hong Kong and the list price is HK$40,000 (street price may be lower by 10%). That's around 3920€. So the price of 4590€ is not bad in Finland with consideration of the high sales tax rate there.

Yes it is a good sign - we have traditionally paid almost 40% more for every "luxury" item.
