The lat thing I need is another bag/case but I really do need another case. Here is the problem. I travel for work a lot and am away for several days at a time. I want to carry the whole shooting match (camera equipment) with me and are short on space with the LowePro PhotoTrekker that I currently have. I have a MiniTrekker but do not want to split the equipment up in two bags.
What has to go in are the following items-
2-long zooms
1-long Prime
2-short zooms
1-short prime
1-TC
1-10D + Battery grip mounted.
1-mini DV
1-P&S
2-battery chargers & batteries
1-flash (550EX)
Assorted filters/remote release/mounting plates/spare ball head.
I have looked at the Pelican cases and they seem to be built like a brick s&%^house.
Is anyone carrying the same amount of gear and what are you using?
Do you use foam or padded inserts?
Open to suggestions.

I'm new to photography and have only been acquiring camera gear since last july. As a result, I have very little equipment, and I find that when I travel, I can get by with just two backpacks, 3 haliburton aluminum cases, two large toploader 'gadget bags', and a canvas shoulder bag for incidentals. The two tripods and the monopod travel just stay in the back of the truck. I found a luggage store that sells collapsible luggage carts in several different sizes. I bought a medium/large version that opens up to become roughly the size of a standard two-wheel hand truck. I have an older, slightly smaller version of the same thing. Between the two of them, I can carry all the equipment at one time, pushing one and pulling the other.

In addition to the above, I have a few things that I don't use very often, so I have two more toploaders and another collapsible luggage cart if I decide I want to carry everything.

      April Fool! Well, sort of. I actually do have everything in the list above, but mainly I use just the two backpacks. There is one more bag I carry for overnighters to carry the chargers etc..

Take both LowePro bags and put them into a Samsonite. :)

Looks like what you need is one of those rolling cases like what the airline stewardess carry (roll?). AAMOF, they're become popular in the regular offices, too. I see a lot of my co-workers pulling those rolling bags holding their laptops and heaven-knows-what-else in there. Might just be the thing for your camera equipment, too. I know Lowepro and Tamrac make several models you can choose from. See if they have a motorized version that you can ride on.

Leo,
I got a motorized one now, call and Aztek. Kinda hard to bring into the hotel room at night though. I've seen the Lowes and the big one goes for the price a new lens.
Leaqning towards the Pelican but would love to heqar from someone that is carrying the same amount of gear.
