Paths etc

I've be struggling with set-up of the paths - for a while I couldn't get the thumbs and microthumbs to show. Finally things started to work even after I apparently changed nothing. Was the bug with greater than 9 exhibits if I downloaded EE today ? Also while I think about it, how can I delete any backup exhibitions that have been generated ?

Also, whenever i add a new exhibit in exhibition editor I don't seem to be able to get my path to come into effect - the default 'pekka thumbs' continue to display on the right even though I specify my own paths (these paths are correct since I have one exhibition using the same ones OK)

Now I have everything close to working in one exhibition - except that that I cannot view the enlarger image by clicking the thumbnail. Also, Pekka's delivered exhibition now does not show the thumbnails but does link to the full size images. I imagine its some path setup problem. (I created a new "Photos" directory with the same 5 'size' folders that Pekka has in his D30_Photos directory)

Any ideas ?

I have answerred one of my own questions.

It appears that the paths in the size path editor are case sensitive ??!

I had a lower case charecter rather than upper at the start of one directory (took quite a while to find as you might imagine) and this stopped other size of images from being displayed. Is this how it should be ? Can this be avoided in any way ?
