Hello All -

I recently tried Smug mug and am very impressed. Thinking of using it for proofing, ordering, etc. But I need to know how the print quality is, anyone out there that can help me this would be greatly appreciated.

It's OK...not great...just OK
I've switched to using Costco who at least allows me to assign a color profile for the output devices at their stores. The photos are a noticeable improvement over what I got from smugmug at a fraction of the cost.

I have smugmug, but only use it for proofing and sharing photos. Like an online portfolio. Thie pro acconut where you can sell images looks cool, but I dont know how their print quality is.

I get all my printing dont at costco using their ICC profiles from drycreekphoto. I also print at MPIX.com since i love their metalic paper. They also have other services costco does not offer.

I havent gotten any prints done from smugmug tho, but I usually don't print at places that will not provide me with an ICC printer profile.

The level or control I have over my costco prints is why i go there, the price is just the icing on the cake.
