That little eagle is getting big FAST!

I show a hatch date of 3/2/07

I believe it is a female from the size, damn near as big as the male already. I believe I saw additional motion in the nest, there may be another.

Nice shots, Gary. Glad to see the progress on the Eaglet. Can't believe the size for only 6 weeks.

I show a hatch date of 3/2/07 which is really 6.5 weeks old, but very big anyway. Thanks I'll try to get some wing flapping from the little one. It was busy eating fish today and I try to get out of there in about 2 hours.

Thanks Trevor

I'm hoping to get some clear wing action from the young one in the next week or two. I also think I saw Movement in the nest, there may be another Eaglet in there. (I Hope)

Beautiful shots, they should be very happy with this sitting :)

Thanks Calico

Yes they don't always show up for family pictures

Excellent images there Gary. I know what you said the last time but I like the background as well. I like the way the Eagles contrast against the greens. As always, very well done.

Sweet shots! Man they do grow fast. The nest I watched It seemed the parents feed them at least every hour or so some days. Others I would go and sit for hours and never see the parents. I love it when there is great light and blue skys :)

This is about the only way I can shoot the nest area. I am still putting together the raising of young so I will have more with this BG.

Probably so There is so dark and much crap at the nest that Focus is hard to come by. Historical data not Framing material.
