New installation upgraded to 2.02

I have installed EE and updated it to 2.02

I have doen an install check and a couple of errors are showing up:

12. ERROR: could not create file handle "backup/ee_backup_files/installtest.tst". Check that permissions of that folder are 777 (world writeable) and that the folder exists.

The folder did not exist so I have created it and set the attributes but I still get the above error.

35. Table check:

ERROR: ee_backup is MISSING!
ERROR: ee_backup_info is MISSING!

Please can you help me get this set up?

Could it be because you've not run a backup procedure yet (which, as far as I remember, create the tables)?

Thanks for the suggestion, Pete. However, if I try to back up, it tells me that it is unable to connect to the database. The rest of the setup seems to be working fine thanks to you and Neil (one or two more tweaks needed but hey, it's working!))

Go back and check some of the settings files. It looks as though you might have messed up the login/password details for the mySQL database connection string.

I had the same minor upset myself before I sorted it out.

System message log should indicate what's going on (hopefully).
