The people look a bit soft/blurred, but the composition is good and I like the background blur.

I love that Roxy jacket. she needs the pants and board to go with it.

that was my first attempt at panning shots.
and wow, i didn't know how tough it actually is!

she saw the jacket in a zine and just HAD to have it.
altho, her old shell matches her helmet much better. :lol:

very nice job panning.
I love that Roxy jacket. she needs the pants and board to go with it.

... i now have a better appreciation of action sports photogs,
specially snow and motor sports, where subjects are zipping by you.

snowboarder is a bit soft, because she's quick to ride out of focus. :confused:

i think the trick is to maunal focus so when she goes pasdt you can keep in focus

shot em AF, like i said, it was my first time,
so any assistance was greatly appreciated. :)

it was hard enough trying to get the lighting,
with the snow being so bright, dark trees and
the gear... wow. i'd love to get another chance
to practice shots like this tho, it was great fun.

yeah i did some shots of my dad on his M/Bike - bloody hard, so i told him to keep goin back up the road to come back down!

didn't turn out too good but it was my first day with the camera

The 1st shot is great, good job on panning, and I like the background, the 2nd photo does nothing for me, way too much white
