Here are a few shots from Saturday. It poured good for at least an hour or so. All I had were a few plastic bags that didn't really hold up. What do most people use and how wet can a mark2n get without damaging it?

What would be the best settings for this type of weather? Upping the ISO?
I was worried that I'd fry my 580 so I used it sparingly.

First 2 shots are of short track, 3 and 4 of dual slalom and 5 of the men's circut race.

I never shot a short track race and wasn't sure where to be.

Great shots, but that shot of Rennie (slalom shot) is Very nice, I love it. I was also at the Otter but i went into hiding once the rain started falling. The 1D can handle quite a bit of rain, but the lenses can get screwed up. Best thing to do is get a rain cover, or make one.
