I have one shooting to do this weekend and I am wondering.

I’m briging my laptop and a card reader with. I would like to know if there is any software that will automaticaly copy the content of the CF Card to the computer whitout any prompts.

Let’s say, I put the card in,
It hask me for an « OK »
Then it creates a folder and copies the full content to the computer.

Pretty much the same as if I would have got a X-Drive Pro.

Downloader Pro will do the job.

You can find it at www.breezesys.com.

Yep -- use DL Pro with automation enabled. You can get a free trial, which I believe is fully enabled for a limited time period to really try it out. It will also create directories & rename files (all based on parameters you specify). It's a great product.

There used to be a free version of Downloader. Try searching google.com for "Breeze Downloader 1.5". There's bound to be some place from where you can download it.

It can be set up to auto-create a folder with a date and download all images into it. All you then need to do is set up Windows to auto-start the Downloader application whenever you plug in your CF card.

ACDSee 6 has card detection facility - opens auto on inserting card - you set the parameters (once only) for naming and numbering and bob's your uncle, fanny is your aunt and you're all set!!
