Thanks for your replies. Now that I'm breathing normally again, I can respond. It was a surprise to see it listed as In Stock on B&H's web site. I had already pre-ordered it at JandR, but they haven't gotten it yet. When I first tried to purchase it today, my credit card was declined because $5000 was being held by the pre authorization at JandR. It takes three days to get it released, bye bye camera. Luckily I found someone elses on the subway this morning :lol: , I mean I had another card that worked. I know it's way too much money, but I just had to have it!
I'm going to sleep now. I'm exhausted.

Not that I was going to get it, but I did check B&H after my last reply and they are no longer in stock. You hit them at the right time, just as I did when I got the 10D.

No word from CDW.. no cahrge to my card (even the once reserved 4500.00 is missing)

So I called B&H... they were closed (2:00pm on friday?)

Website said in stock,. so I ordered with one day overnight fed ex.

B&H refused to take any pre orders. I called last week and they said to wait till it was posted. I found it today on a lark. I had already ordered it from J&R, but they haven't gotten them yet. who knew? Good luck with yours.

Believe me I thought about it. I also thought about buying one and reselling it to one of the guys on here that could really use it. No not at a profit. Just to help someone out but I really don't feel like paying the interest on the card till I pay it off plus who knows, it may just be a mistake on the web site.

No, don't do that. If he jumps out of the hotel window, there's a change he may land in the pool. If you call him now, while he's on the road, and he jumps out of the window, he'll land on the road and get run over by a car or a truck for sure. :shock:
