The 28-300, that'll be? Now if I were to adopt this I could theoretically earn about $8-9K.

Nah, I'm still drooling over the 400 2.8.. Or maybe 500, or perhaps the 600. I've been happy with the 24-70 2.8 and the 70-200 2.8. Doubler takes me to 140-400 f/5.6. So I figure if I can get the 400 (which puts me in a lot of different seats depending on if I use an extender and which one) I should be happy for awhile.

I've been doing well at the ballgames, so the want has subsided a bit. Its not a 'need' item but certainly a 'want'.

Dayme it, I nearly did all that until I realized what it would have done. Its kinda like those tests I used to get in school where the teacher would say read all the rules and begin, and in one of the many paragraphs there would be a line that instructed you to go to the back page, sign your name and give the test to the teacher. My retarded self wouldnt read, complete the test and the last question would reveal the trickery thus informing the teacher that I DIDNT READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS.:|:|:|

I dont like you,lmao:p

If you look around the site, it's all about equipment, everyone's buying/selling. If you don't have the "gear envy" that's produced by this site, and never see all the pixel peepers out there, you would never know your equipment wasn't enough, and you wouldn't spend the 5g's on camera equipment a year that will inevitably happen.

I've easily spent 1500 in about 3 months of being in this freaking forum! I plan on spending a couple-few thousand more on lenses and a new body easily by the end of the year.

If you follow the instructions to the letter, and list all the photo sites and suppliers and then click "Never Allow" you will not be able to go to these sites.

By not getting POTN and others you will never develope the infamous L Fever and absolute desire to add to your collection.

by not getting B&H and Adorama or Camera Canada you will never see the great equipment you must have.

by avoiding all this information and temptation you will not spend, at a minimum, $2K per year and probably more. Money not spent is money earned.

Warning to all, keep these instructions away from the other half!!

$2000 is petty change. My friend in Nigeria is sending me 12 million later this month. I only had to send him $30k to get him to be able to release the funds. Pretty sweet deal huh?

Sounds mighty sweet, mighty sweet. jk

I about to collect 25 million from the Spanish lottery because someone I don't know purchased a ticket in my name. All I have to do is give him my bank account & bank routing number. Can't wait to collect.

I'm gonna be rich too! Just got this email today:

Dear friend,

My name is George kouma from Burkina Faso in West Africa ; I am the manager audit and account department of our bank, African development bank (A.DB). In fact I kindly made up my mind to contact you for a transfer the sum of nineteen million, three hundred thousand United States dollars ($19,300,000.00 into your bank account and this fund was abandoned and left unclaimed with our bank since the real owner died.

The money belongs to our customers who died few years ago with all his family members, moreover it is a current joint-account between him and his wife whereas they endorsed their children to be their successor in case of any problem occurred to them but unfortunately sudden death took away all his children.

So when i got information of the incident, i did everything possible to contact any of their relative overseas for the claim but the effort was abortive. In terms of claiming this fund, our "banking law says that it is only the deceased foreign extended relative, business partner or affectionate who is allowed by law to lay request of claim over the fund and this should be done on or within three years after the beneficiary's death, and the law warns that if mandate given to claim the fund expires without any claim request was made, the fund will be transferred into the bank treasury without a reverse of further claim by any person.

So it is upon this specific declaration of our banking laws, which motivated me to contact you so that you will apply immediately and claim the fund as the extended relative of the deceased. On your assistance of getting the fund transferred into your bank account, and we will share the fund among ourselves as the share ratio indicates below:-

The fund will be shared 60% / 40%. This is 60% for me and 40% for you ok.

As to assure me your integrity and trust, you should include your photograph or international passport, private telephone and fax numbers, resident address.

I am expecting your reply so that i will let you know the next step to follow immediately in order to finalize this transaction on a period of one week as we would expected.

Finally, note that i will resign from work and come over to your country once the fund hits your account and i will still need your assistance to direct me for business investment in your country and you will get another 30% from the profit from the investment because i will like you to act as the fund manager i will need you to issue me a letter of invitation or visa immediately the fund get transferred.

I am expecting your urgent reply as soon as possible
Yours sincerely,
Mr George kouma

You mean I wasn't the only one who got that e-mail? I was all ready to send them money so that they'd send me 10 million dollars....why wouldn't that be legit?:D:D:D:D

Sad thing is I've gotten similar e-mails for several years. One was some person claiming to be some African immigrant whose rich parents died and they couldn't get their estate without "my help". Sometimes I wonder why they can't at least make up more realistic sounding names.

The most aggravating scam of all time was when I tried putting a camera up for auction on E-bay. The first person who tried to buy from me only had an account setup for less then a day, bought my camera, canceled their account, then sent me a fake "paypal" e-mail confirming that they had paid me more then what I was selling for. Because they wanted to have me ship to Nigeria. Since they were so helpful to actually include a name and address, I turned them into Paypal. Those ***holes cost me $30 in relisting fees:mad::mad:

No...the OP was the most entertaining "get rich" spam I've ever read: kudos!!
