If I were to buy one or two filters for my Pro90, which one(s) should I get? Any suggestions as to sources?
In the bad old days of film, I used a clear filter to protect the lens. I would suspect one of these should be on my short list.

Certainly you can use a UV filter to protect your lens if you want to.
Most of the "slight color" filters like an 81A and such are subtle enough that the camera will adjust white balance to make up for it.
A polarizer is the most useful item; when it cuts through glare to increase image saturation (or darken a blue sky) that's harder to reproduce in Photoshop. Indeed, removing glare (off leaves or water, for example) can't be done except at the time of taking the picture.

Thanks, Gary...
I just received a UV and a circular polarizer from www.camerafilters.com.
Fabulous service... I ordered on Sunday and received the filters on Wednesday. Guess now it's time to play a little bit
