I guess this would be my first street photography shot, we were coming out of Photo Central, a photo store in winnipeg and this guy was just chillin out on the bench looking beat up and haggard so i offered him my energy bar if i could snap a shot of him, he was sycked and posed a little.

great shots. no.1 is my favourite, great colours and the emptiness of the street really ads to it. how did you post-process? and well done on having the courage to approach him, it's a good skill to have for street photography. :-)

the only editing i did to the photos was scan them in and slightly adjusted the curves. When im out on the street i usually like to have some change with me or some chocolate bars incase an opportunity comes up where they want something in return for their picture being taken

more c & c please, be harsh, tell me my life is worthless and i'll never amount to anything in photography or tell me you love it and you wish you were my best friend, haha.

AE-1? That surely brings back memories, I remember my AE-1, a camera I used during the early 80's. Great to see a film user in this day and age. It looks like the guy was very cooperative in posing for the camera, which is good as you captured a whimsical moment. Next time, try taking the photo first before giving him anything so that you capture a natural demeanor. Then take a picture after you give him something and compare the two. It might make for an interesting before and after take. Thanks for sharing!
