Updates
• For cameras that supply such information, the EXIF flag indicating whether the flash fired is now always included in metadata. Previously it was only included for those cameras if the flash fired.
• Noise problems seen on the Olympus E-1 have been fixed.
• “Apply Camera Raw Settings...” will now only apply a white balance setting if one was present in the applied preset.
• Updated "As Shot" white balance for Canon PowerShot Pro 90 IS, PowerShot G1, and PowerShot G2.
• Custom Kelvin white balance on Canon 1D/1Ds is now applied correctly.
• The "MaxAperatureValue" EXIF value (if present) from Canon ".CRW" files is now extracted.
• The IPTC information from BreezeBrowser stored in the sidecar .THM file is now extracted.
• Updated the Fuji SuperCCD interpolation algorithm.
• Changed highlight processing logic to increase highlight saturation.
If you have any problems with this update, please refer to the support Web site at
http://www.adobe.com/support/.

Awesome! Got my second backup battery today (will have a total of three) for the MKII and two wrist grips (10D and MKII) and have another 1gig CF and 512meg SD card coming soon. I am so ready.

Tap, tap, tap. Okay Canon, I am ready now... :D

I am kind of torqued at Adobe here lately and this is as good of a place as any to rant.

It wasn't too long ago that the ACR plug-in came out for 7 and it got all the hype from magazines and on-line reviewers. I bought it for $99 bucks. Now I find out it's no loger supported and the only way to upgrade RAW profiles/cameras is to upgrade to CS.

I just got through buying it last night for $199.

I will have to say, CS's browser handles RAW files quicker than before, even on my stone aged CPU.

I am done now, putting my soap box away.
I feel better.

I totally agree, it was very wrong of adobe to do that.
At the least they should have made the new raw plug in comptible with V7.0.1 and continued to sell it as an idividual plug in

Adobe did say right out the box that the next release of their software would have camera raw built in, so they did warn people that was the case.

Sell it or even if they wouldn't sell it,. they should support it with updates..

The worst part,. by not updating PS7 and ACR... they are not only forcing you to upgrade to PSCS.. but they are in fact forcing you to upgrade to Winblows XP... and NOT for any OS/performance reason.. no only so that PSCS can take advatage of XPs activation system.

As it is,. I still use PS7 on two machines.. machines that I have no interest to (or in one case no ability) to upgrade to XP.

FYI, the 2.2 version works fine with CS. As always, I have extensively tested the new plug in (before totally deleting the old one) and cannot find anything wrong.

Cannot prove it, but I think the sharpening in the plug in is slightly improved. I'm sure I can push a bit more sharpening in now without getting artifacts. But as I say, cannot prove it.

Cheers
