I've rarely had so much trouble commenting on an image. "I like it" seems shallow. And I'm not sure what I like so much... and that's my problem. First off it's technically superb. The DOF, the color palette, the composition... all dead on. But there are a bazzillioin pix like that here. The effect is whimsical, and simultaneously provocative. Yea... I like mu60's point... damned if it doesn't have the surreal feel of an album cover... which reduces my comment to "me too". I hate it when fine postings go uncommented upon.... so I'm commenting on yours. And I'm sure that just as soon as I click on' Post Quick Reply', well... I'll think of something reeeeeeely perfect to say about what is a perfect... perfect... darn... still haven't got it... but I sure appreciate your posting and hope you'll keep them coming.

Thanks....

Ted

It's got a very 'restless' feel to it. As if the 'guy' is thinking...come on, where's this train. Each one has his own state of mind...his own train (no pun intented) of thought.

I like it...and the colors in the forefront, against the blue, puffy cloud sky makes it more lively.

Cool.

Thank you all, it is encouragement like this that keeps me interested in exploring. I already have some great ideas for what is next, perhaps in the following weeks I will have the time to try them out.

i can't even get layering to work for me. But this is awesome. I feel like you caught me on film. I can see in each of them (you) a different feeling, that feeling of O.K. pretty soon, Oh come on already where is the train, Geez maybe i should walk ,right up to laying down and giving up. Don't know of anything that could be done to improve it.

Great job, can't wait to see more.
