Great shots. Were any of the cars painted a bright color (red, orange etc.)? I might also be great to leave its saturated.

The b/w conversions give your shots a nice vintage look...would love to see the original color versions in a separate thread, especially the fourth one.

They look GOOD Erik. :D Number 4 looks like it has just been run, with the salt residue still caked on. ;)

Why were you there?
That's a great location, but "Classic" doesn't have to be B&W? Didn't they have Kodachrome back in 1935? ;)

Unfortunately I lost the color versions in a hard drive failure. I had these on my Flickr account.

I was at Bonneville for the 2006 Speedweek event.

Promotes rust. But a lot of these cars are built to be run hard. :D

It does promote rust, but most of these cars get a good bath after the event. Note that these are all support or spectator vehicles, none of them actually ran on the track.

Nice pictures! I've always wondered how to get the 'vintage' look when taking pictures.

I've always wondered how to get the 'vintage' look when taking pictures. It's easier if you're drinking the less expensive vintages while you're shooting?
