lightroom problem

Using lightroom to produce flash web gallery display you can pick different size choices to display the images - however they display differently depending on landscape or portrait.

Say you have a landscape photo 800x600 your portrait photos in the same gallery will only display say 600x400 making a constantly changing pic size......... if you see what I mean

Any way round this..........

I am no lightroom wizard, but I think you just enter the longest pixel size in both length and width area. If you want a picture to be 800 on the longest side, no matter if it's landscape or portrait, you enter 800x800. The longest side will be 800, and the other side will adjust accordingly. I'm not sure if you understood this, my english isn't too good. Please, someone correct me on this one, if I got the whole size thing wrong....

Widowmaker is correct. This also applies to exporting. These sizes are the maximum constraint size but during this process Lightroom does not change the aspect ratio. It meerly tells the image that its longest side is xxx pixels (800 in the example above).

I'm still lost as you can't specify the picture size just small,medium,large and extra large.......

You can change it somewhat while creating, but I believe you can edit the size afterwards by adjusting the .xml file it creates

Ooops. I thought the WEB module was similar to every other method that Adobe has used before.:) Sorry about that. Wonder why they decided to be different this time.:confused:

Try this

Once in Lightroom’s Web module use the keyboard shortcut
Ctrl + Alt + Shift + / (Windows)
Com + opt + Shift + / (Mac)

Hold them down til you see the Right side Menus expand, trust me you will know when it loads.
Start scrolling down the panel and you will see all the new futures.
