I'm trying to decide what photo host I should go with, as far as paying for their services. Currently, I have a remaining 6 months on my Pbase account, but I don't like using it because everytime I tried to post my photos on forums, blogs, etc... Most of the time it doesn't work(red x>me). It seems to me that it is not as reliable as free services provided by Photobucket and Flickr. So give me your input and opinions on what you use. I am tempting to just ditch the Pbase account and just sign up for a year of Flickr.
Thanks

I use SmugMug, great service at a reasonable price! You can try it out free too.

Photobucket is great if you don't want to display your pictures there, just host them. Other than that, I use flickr. The images are a tad small.

I've used PBase for years...never had a red x...never had a problem linking the images...the server is fast and thus far very reliable. I have tried the other photo hosting sites just as a comparison and every one of them is too slow and unreliable for my needs.
Is PBase perfect? Hell no! Their customer service is horrid. But when it comes to a place that keeps my pictures visible...no other host compares. Like anything...you need to find something that best suits your needs.

I just got a zenfolio account. I love it! Great presentation and easy to use. Save 5.00 with this code Q1C-UW2-JBQ

Thank you all for your input. I did notice that flickr resize their photos, but it's nice how they display them. I have been using Photobucket for a year now and yup, their display sucks, but they haven't failed on me (yet). Umm how are you guys hosting with Pbase? I normally link with the address under properties <right click> and it gave me some trouble.
Thanks again for all your inputs.

Another vote for Zenfolio. I was with Smugmug last year but for a fraction of the price you can get most of the features in Zenfolio.., and its being developed so there are more changes to come.
Gluck beat me to the discount code!
I believe both offer free trials is you want to try them out for yourself.

Thanks for the discount code! I will try Smugmug and Zenfolio out and see how I like it. I hope they aren't like the quality reducing Photobucket.

I tried the SmugMug site for almost the full term. I then browsed a few others. Personally, I really like the layout and operation of SmugMug a lot better. It was what I was looking for in a presentation style. Good customization too. I ended up with SmugMug.

I think Zenfolio has the best look and is the most userfriendly (for the user and the visitor!!!) around. I've been using it since January after checking out and trying out Smugmug and Pbase. Pbase seems to have too many problems with the pics not showing here, and Smugmug is very expensive and much more timeconsuming than Zenfolio.
Check Zenfolio out and remember that they are relative new with many new things (custom pricing, comments...) coming in the near future. And read this thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=275061):)

Zenfolio wins my vote. I have over 1,700 photos hosted there. No problems.

I'm looking for an account that doesn't allow right click, save as or such.
Which of these is best for that?
I would rather have that then putting a watermark on every photo.
Thanks

Do all of the account options have that?

I was looking at the smugmug pro account but have decided against it for now for a couple of very important reasons:
1 - prices are only available to be displayed in $US - I am in Australia and my customers are mainly Australian and want to see and pay in Australian dollars. Smugmug are aware of this issue and have advised it is not very high on their priority list
2 - Smugmug pay by cheque and only at certain times - not only do they retain a commission they withhold payment for a month or a quarter. Then when a cheque is sent out it takes between 21 and 28 days for the funds to clear to my bank - that could mean 4 months from an order to when I get paid. Just not good enough.
