I have created 2 paths in my setup. One size at 1024 and one at 800.
Now I have uploaded photos to the 1024 size path and now want the photos in the other path too.
How do I do that?
Do I have to reupload all the photos or is it possible to copy & resize from one path to the other.
I need this for my little script to imbed photos here. Some will remember I have posted elsewhere that I wanted to write a little script I can use to imbed photos directly from EE here on POTN using the EE database.
Like this example
http://photo.klein-jensen.dk/eephoto.php?id=1688
http://photo.klein-jensen.dk/eephoto.php?id=1688
And here an example adding info from the db (the info is not correct in this case though)
http://photo.klein-jensen.dk/eephoto.php?id=1688&exif=1
http://photo.klein-jensen.dk/eephoto.php?id=1688&exif=1

Probably you can copy and paste them and then resize. But for futere purpose it might be easier to put both sizes in your post processing.
Hopefully you will share the script sooner or later with us. Would be great :) (maybe an idea, now that I click on the photo I can just safe it straight away. Would be cool if you can put an transparant gif file on top of it that blocks saving straigh away.)

Yes my plan is to share the script. I might ask Pekka to review it if he has time so I don't cause any security issues with EE2.

It is much easier to add both sizes during the upload process, but you can add a size path and have EE create the photo at that size from the photo editor. Look at the bottom of the page and you'll see the forms to do that.

I saw that and tried to add the size but nothing happened.

Would also be cool if the script can display things in other languages. Just like EE does.
In your examples for instance the copyright notice, or the exif data

You need to have working ftp settings and also resize method (set in path editor for that path) to have that upload work.
Or do you mean you clicked "add size path to this photo" and EE did not add a size path?

FTP is working and I have the resize method. If I upload to the path it works.
It was when I clicked on "add size path to this photo" the path was added to the photo but the photo was not resized and the size info was 0.
btw I have not updated to 2.02 yet.

After you've added a path to photo, you will now need to use the size path form to upload a file to that path. This is because any size path can contain any size of file, and any type of file (movie, flash, image, text) -- there is no way EE would know what you want automatically.
I have not seen it as a logical choice to work on a source image that has already been resized, but it would be good to add a choice to pick up the photo from any upload folder, or from http address.
