here are 2 pictures i made a while ago. i did pp to get out those purple colours.

pictures where take with my 70-200 lens :)

WOW....i like these shots a lot. What type of filter did you use while taking them?

I Just bought this lens and I haven't gotten comfortable with it yet. I know that it is very sharp.

Again....nice shots.

They are great shots... But, I'm just not for one on doing so much PP'ing that you don't capture the actual image that was going on. If somebody else were to be watching this from their own eyes, would there be any purple at all in the actual picture??

Nothing against you, as they look good, just not one of those to make an image something that isn't.

i didnīt use any filter. just on the lens a UV-filter. made it come out this way with hue/saturation/ brightness and contrast in CS2. the lens is great. razor sharp, you will love it! :)

i know that its not showing what the my eyes saw. there was not much purple in that. sometimes iīm feeling to play around in CS2 -canīt resist. :)
it sure looked good just to do a little PP on the original (only contrast/brightness).

I like the compositon of the shots but the color ruins it for me. I've never seen a sunset look purple.

I must say I am not a big fan of the purple sky! I do like the composition of #2 though alot!

I must say that the purple looks nice! But yes its not normal, though nice effect!
