My Adorama Rep Says You Are All Full Of.......

Called Adorama today to check on my order. He said they have not received the 1DMKII yet. He also said that all of the claims of individuals receiving the 1DMKII are untrue. He says no one has the camera. The fact that I have not seen credible images from anyone other than the Phil Askey's of the photographic world, I can't really doubt the Adorama rep. SHOW ME THE PICTURES 8)

Your welcome. I just got my UPS tracking number. UPS info says just under 11 pounds. That's either my camera and spare battery or a very expensive brick!!!!!! :shock:

It seems that Adorama is slow to get a lot of new Canon gear...

I just purchased a Canon Elura 70 mini-DV camcorder. It was to be released mid-April, and Adorama was $100 less than anyone else, including B&H. However, for at least two weeks B&H, BestBuy, Circuit City and my local camera dealer had them in stock, but they were yet to arrive at Adorama.

I eventually cancelled my order and purchased from PC Nation for the same price. Got in in two days with free shipping.

I'll probably not order from Adorama again.

If you ever went into Adorama, you wouldn't consider buying anything over $100 from them. It's a small cluttered store that features mostly used equipment. The salesman, hides the computer monitor so you can't see their prices. They are located only about 20 blocks from B&H, but they are worlds apart.

I just ahd a look at their 2nd hand stuff online-Hmm,nothing much interesting in the EF line.KEH blows them (and everyone else) out of the water for used EF lenses!
